General Labourer/Roofer

Our General Labourers Roofers assist our roofing crew with site preparation and cleanup, as well as roof installation. Knowledge of job site safety, the ability to learn new concepts, safety-conscious attitudes, and safety-first-driven work practices are all necessary skills for success in your new career. Working in a group will allow you to practice and learn hand tools, develop job site safety awareness, work at heights, and learn to protect yourself and others while on the job.

• Certificates for Roofing (Soprema ticket, ETC.)
• Journeyman/woman Red Seal (Preferred)
• Safety Certifications: Fall Arrest, WHMIS, CSTS, Torch Safety, Forklift, First Aid.
• There is no requirement for an asset or a diploma to apply for this position*.

• Although high school graduation is ideal, it is not required.

• Ability to multitask and manage time and duties efficiently.
• It is not necessary to have a driver’s license, although it is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• The ability to comprehend a project plan.

• Able to lift 100 pounds and climb ladders to a minimum height of 25 feet.
• It is necessary to have a can-do mentality.
• Attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving are essential.
• You must be able to work under pressure when presented with deadlines.

• Site clean-up, setting up site protection, moving materials, installation requirement, etc.
• Assist with installing and maintaining roofing systems for buildings.
